Land Platform Mid-Life Upgrade

 

We led engineering assurance activities for a mid-life upgrade to a complex land weapon system.

 

By managing GEAR outputs, legislative exemptions, and regulator engagement, AACE enabled the platform to reach operating capability milestones on time and ensured ongoing supportability.

Surface Ship Combat System ILS Support

 

AACE managed the ILS programme for a surface ship combat system upgrade, enabling safe and supportable entry into service.

 

Through stakeholder engagement and logistics planning, we achieved LSD, training readiness, and IOC for the upgraded platform under tight delivery timescales.

Carrier Group Tactical Link Upgrade

 

We delivered ILS integration for a tactical link upgrade across multiple platforms in the carrier group.

Next-Gen SATCOM Requirements Leadership

 

We led requirements capture for a strategic SATCOM terminal under SKYNET 6, ensuring system scope and compliance from concept to ITN.

 

AACE coordinated technical and non-technical inputs, producing robust documentation that underpinned risk analysis, contract evaluation, and long-term capability planning.

Chinook Mission Support Contract

 

AACE supported the setup and management of a mission-critical avionics support contract for a heavy-lift helicopter platform.

 

Through continuous stakeholder liaison and ILS compliance, we enabled smooth service entry and maintained support over multiple contract iterations with high user satisfaction.

Human Factors Incident Investigation

 

AACE conducted a comprehensive Human Factors investigation into an air safety incident, using HFACS methodology to uncover root causes.

 

Our independent report informed DASOR closure and led to improved communication processes, receiving strong endorsement from both prime and subcontractor leadership.

AS9100 Support

 

AACE supported five SMEs with AS9100 QMS development under limited funding.

 

Despite minimal prior quality frameworks, our consultants provided structured guidance and clause-by-clause support, helping each company build understanding and progress toward aerospace certification readiness.

MRP 145 Compliance and Training

 

We helped a logistics provider achieve MRP 145 compliance and delivered training to over 900 personnel across two MOD sites.

 

Our phased approach addressed airworthiness understanding across maintenance and warehousing, with follow-on training extended to transport roles.
