After being part of the team since joining us in 2012, initially in the role of Operations Manager and then as Managing Director from 2016, AACE said a fond farewell to Nolan Collins-Bent in February 2019, wishing him all the very best in his retirement. Following Nolan’s departure, Lynette Hussey will be taking on the Managing Director role and she is looking forward to continuing all of the good work started by Nolan and, along with the rest of the Senior Leadership Team, she is excited to meet the challenges the future brings.

AACE company owners Rick and Gaynor Hussey have commented:

‘We would like to express our thanks for everything Nolan has done for the company since joining us in 2012. Rick has known Nolan since their early RAF days and we were both thrilled when he agreed to come on board with AACE, initially as Operations Manager and then stepping into the MD role in July 2016. We are so grateful for his leadership and for fostering such a strong team ethos in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the company as a whole. We know how highly he is thought of by everyone in AACE and also by our customers. It’s been such a pleasure to work closely with Nolan over the last few years and we wish him all the very best in his retirement.’

AACE marked Nolan’s retirement with afternoon tea at the nearby Boston Tea Party before venturing into Bristol for evening celebrations.

Nolan said of working for AACE:

‘I have enjoyed immensely every moment of being part of the AACE Group. I have been very fortunate to work with many very talented and dedicated people whether amongst our employees, our loyal associate base or with our clients. Across the Companies you have all afforded me, and the Husseys, immense support over the years. I thank you all very much for that support. I will genuinely miss the friendship and camaraderie that has been, and will continue to be I’m sure, the hallmark of the AACE Group. I am certain too that you will afford Lynette and the Senior Leadership Team members that same level of friendship, dedication and support as the Companies move forward positively and successfully in the coming months and years.’

Whilst Nolan has retired from the MD role, we are thrilled that he will be continuing to support AACE on a consultancy basis as Operations Manager on one of our longer term contracts and so will continue to be a valued member of the AACE team.
