MAR/RTS
Among the many safety management tasks that AACE have undertaken is the management of the aircraft certification and release process. AACE has been deeply involved in many aircraft projects for the authoring of the Military Aircraft Release (MAR) or Release To Service (RTS) documents. This has involved aspects such as:
- tracking and processing of Release recommendations
- drafting and formatting the textual changes to the document
- creation and management of the audit trail
- briefing of Release Document Authorizing Officer
- conversion of Release Documents to Generic Aircraft Release Programme (GARP) standard
- periodic independent review of MAR/RTS activity
AACE is able to undertake almost any role, large or small, within the Release certification process and uniquely, could provide a turnkey Release Management process where AACE manages the release recommendations, the output document then provides a completely independent and unbiased recommendation for release to the authorising authority, with the assurance of a fully maintained, documented audit trail.
