Engineering and Logistics

AACE has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of engineering and support activity ranging from operations at the front line through to the creation and management of large Integrated Operational Support (IOS) packages.

AACE is able to provide a wide range of services that will enhance and develop support procedures. This includes:

Detailed engineering support.
Development of modifications including Urgent Operational requirements.
Extraction of maintenance and reliability data
Development of support policies.
Liaison with other stakeholders within the support environment. Development of best practice.
Support to contractual negotiations with potential support contractors.

The logistics area covers a whole range of AACE tasks. The many and varied aspects of logistics have included work on the following projects:

Development of a Through Life Support (TLS) solution for PUMA and Gazelle.
Development of a Value For Money Comparator (VFMC) for the Typhoon availability solution.
Development of Chinook Mk 2 modifications for inclusion within the base Chinook Mk 3R Standard.
Management of UOR programmes on various platforms including Harrier GR9 and Merlin.
