Interim Management

In the management of complex projects there are always occasions where the peak loading is beyond what the current level of staff can cope with if they are to achieve specific deadlines. In such situations it is appropriate to use some form of ‘interim management’ to supplement existing staff for specific projects or timescales.

The wide and very high calibre skill set represented by AACE staff can be made available to customers as interim management solutions. Several AACE staff have supported customers in this way and have made a major contribution to the success of the programme.

Examples of the use of AACE for interim management have been:

Support to the Chinook Mk 3R Safety Management Team.
Project management support to the AMRAAM programme.
Provision of GFX Controller to Chinook Mk 2 Team.
Management of software support issues for the Harrier IPT.
