Engineering and Logistics Support

AACE staff analyse client support solutions and requirements to optimise the development and management of engineering and logistics processes.  Typical services provided address both technical and logistics tasks ranging from initial data gathering through to complex high value-added analysis leading to advice on strategy.  AACE capability in this area includes:

  • Manage and Develop Support Solutions:
    • Support Solutions Envelope compliance.
    • Support Policy Plans and documents e.g. Topic 2R1.
    • Integrated Operational Support (IOS) Solution analysis and development.
    • Schedule to Logistic Support Date and supporting reports.
    • ILS covering training, support equipment, spares, repair and overhaul, software, disposal etc.
    • Sustainability.
    • Review processes for contract deliverables.

  • In-service Support:
    • Modifications and Urgent Operational Requirements.
    • In-Service Supply Support Plans .
    • Occurrence Reporting/Engineering Instruction Reviews.
    • Contracting for Availability/FMS.
    • Contract monitoring.

  • Support Functions:
    • Platform Integrity including structural/system and propulsion.
    • Engineering Authority Course – 3 complete.
    • Health Checks – developed on Goal Structured Notation (GSN) Model.
